Louise Overman Craven

Mrs. Mildred Louise Overman Craven, 87, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012, at The Randolph Hospice House. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:30 am Saturday, July 14, 2012, at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev. Jon Reece officiating. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Craven was born January 31, 1925. She was the daughter of the late Giles McKinley Overman and Hazel Lettie Williams Overman. She was a member of Back Creek Friends Meeting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clotus Eugene Craven, sister, Emma O. Paisley Swenson, and brother, W. Gilbert Overman. Mrs. Craven is survived by daughters, Linda C. Roberts and husband, Houston, of Pinehurst, NC, Candy C. Conrad and husband, Neil, of Greensboro, NC, sons, Danny Craven and wife, Pam, of Cape Carteret, NC, S. Neal Craven and wife, Aretta, of Asheboro, NC, brother, Wayne T. Overman, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Angela Craven, Chad Conrad, Brooks Roberts, Hillary Stilwell, Paige Burleson, Bill Moore, and six great grandchildren.
