Louis Freeman

Louis Daniel Freeman, 86, of Asheboro, died Monday, November 2, 2020, at his son's home. Louis was born on December 27, 1933 in Davidson County to the late Mitchell Martin Freeman and Bessie Ada Lewis. He worked at Randolph Mills for 28 years and later retired from Kayser-Roth after 23 years. In addition to his parents, Louis was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hudson Freeman; grandson, Jonathan Freeman; sisters, Ethel Morgan, Mildred Burgess, Iva Dell Moody; and brother, Joe Freeman. Surviving are his son, Steve Freeman and wife Shirley of Franklinville; granddaughter, Samantha Freeman and fiance Alex Adkins of Ramseur; granddaughter-in-law, Melissa Freeman; great grandchildren, Dillon Adkins, Austin Freeman, Hannah Freeman, and Preston Freeman. A private graveside service will be held Friday, November 6, 2020, at Randolph Memorial Park.
