Lois Williams

Mrs. Lois Vivian Barratt Williams, 82, of Asheboro, NC, died Sunday, December 9, 2012, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of New Haven County, CT, Mrs. Williams was born March 19, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Henry Barratt and Vivian Viola Doolittle Barratt. She was a member of East Side Baptist Church, where she was a choir member. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her son, William Joseph Bunnell and her granddaughter, Jennifer Vivian Brown. Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Richard C. Williams; daughters, Barbara Townsend, of Asheboro, NC, Joyce Farina and husband, Fred, of Charlestown, RI, Lois Buck and husband, Thomas, of Ashaway, RI; son, David Bunnell and wife, Sue, of Westerly, RI; brother, Robert J. Barratt, of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Melissa Fox, Andrew Zegarzewski, Joshua Buck, Tiffany Buck, David Bunnel, Jr., Joseph Bunnell, Tammy Northern, Kellie Bunnell, William Bunnell, Jr., Micah Bunnell, Becky Durant, Tara Ortin; 23 great grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Randolph, PO Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
