Lois O. Dunavan

Mrs. Lois Marie Olsen Dunavan, 81, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, May 16, 2011, at Randolph Hospice House. A memorial service will be held at a later date. A native of Des Moines, IA, Mrs. Dunavan was born June 16, 1929. She was the daughter of the late Claus Arild Olsen and Elise Hermansen Olsen. She was a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Hayes, KS. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother. Mrs. Dunavan is survived by her husband, Al Dunavan, of the home; children, Jim Daren Dunavan Kuhn, of Nebraska City, NE, Sandy Hardin and husband, Greg, of Ramseur, NC, Michael Scott Dunavan and wife, Chrissy, of Virginia Beach, VA, Julie Dunavan, of Upper Black Eddy, PA; brother, Erik Olsen and wife, Carol, of Morrisville, VT; six grandchildren.
