Lois Albright Brown

Lois Mae Albright Brown, 69, of Seagrove, died Sunday, May 10, 2015 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at New Center Christian Church with Rev. Melvin Morton and Rev. Jimmy Shirlen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Brown was born May 1, 1946, to the late Murphy Elton and Ollie Mae Corder Albright. She attended Seagrove High School and graduated from Randolph Community College. Mrs. Brown was a member of New Center Christian Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Mikel Andrew Brown; two sisters, Mrytle McNeill and Betty Brown; and her mother-in-law, Alma Brown. Mrs. Brown is survived by her husband, Russell Brown of the home; her son, Randy Brown of the home; one sister, Ann Allred and husband, Howard, of Robbins; four grandchildren, Casey Brown, Shawn Reeder, Jessica Reeder and Charlie Reeder; six great-grandchildren, Julian, Grayson, Jack, Aubree, Cheyenne and William. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
