Lloyd Dean Clark, 73, of Asheboro, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2019, at his home. Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Randleman, with Pastor John Miles, Rev. Junior Dawkins, Pastor Billy Massey, and Rev. William Poole officiating. Lloyd was born on August 14, 1946, in Scotland Co. He was employed at Triad Freightliner in Greensboro and was the former owner of Powerhouse Gym for over 20 years. He was a good man, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, faithful friend and most important a child of the Lord. He loved his heavenly Father and his family. His other three things he loved most were being a Diesel Tech, body building, and NASCAR racing. He was preceded in death by his father, James Everette Clark. Mr. Clark is survived by his wife of 52 years, Verneita Clark of the home; daughter, Vickie Clark of Asheboro; son, Kenneth L. Clark and wife Robin of Randleman; mother, Irene Clark of Siler City; sisters, Linda Bridgers of Colorado, Ann Radcliffe and Husband Bill of Siler City, Wanda Smith of Greensboro; brother, James Willard Clark and wife Sue of Robbins; grandchildren, Joshua Clark, Devin Clark, Donovan Clark; nieces and nephews, Anthony Clark and wife Henrietta of Seagrove, Gary Clark and wife Patricia of Seagrove, Marty Satterfield and wife Tabitha of Asheboro, Renee Thompson of Asheboro; and special friends, Kevin McComb, Ben Leslie, and Jeff Yow.
