Lloyd Bingham

William Lloyd Bingham, 83, of Asheboro, died Thursday, October 12, 2017 at Hospice Home at High Point in High Point. Memorial services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Science Hill Friends Meeting with Rev. Michael Fulp, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the meeting cemetery with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Randolph County, Mr. Bingham was born January 18, 1934, the son of the late William "Cage" and Virginia Kearns Bingham. He enjoyed fishing, softball, gardening and playing horseshoes. Mr. Bingham was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Joel Bingham; and sister, Erma Lee Spots. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Bingham of the home; daughter, Lisa Bingham of Shelby; sons, Jason Bingham and wife, Rhonda of Asheboro, Dale Johnson of Thomasville, Randy Johnson of Greenville, SC, Mark Hunt of Archdale; sister, Betsy Klein of Brooklyn, NY; and grandchildren, Aaron Bingham, Grayson Bingham, Jenna Bingham, Dillion Linebarrier, Bailey Linebarrier, Adam Linebarrier, Dillon Stevenson, Mackenzie Hunt, Shelbie Hunt, Robert Johnson, Jake Johnson, Matthew Johnson and Cody Waddell. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Tuesday, at Science Hill Friends Meeting.
