Mr. Lindsey Arthur Lambert, 88, of Asheboro, NC, died on January 10, 2026 at the Hospice of Randolph.
A native of Randolph County, Mr. Lambert was born February 16, 1937. He was the son of the late Johnny Arthur Lambert and Mary Lee Tysinger Lambert.
Lindsey never met a stranger. He loved genealogy and exploring his Native American heritage. He enjoyed reading—especially mysteries and westerns—listening to North Carolina’s traditional folk music, and had a deep appreciation for traditional arts and crafts. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his beloved great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carlene Cooper Lambert, and sister, Alice Jeanette Lambert.
He is survived by his son, Lindsey Alan Lambert, of Randleman, NC; daughter, Andrea Ladare Lambert, of Greensboro, NC; grandchildren, Megan Bennett (Cody) of Asheboro, Deanna Vela (Carlos) of Randleman, and Julie Allmond of Greensboro; and great-grandchildren, Andy Bennett, Avery Vela, and Adlee Vela.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
Mr. Lambert was cremated by Ridge Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Asheboro, NC.
