Linda T. Sexton

Mrs. Linda Ann Tucker Sexton, 69, of Asheboro, NC, a great mother, grandma, sister and wife has gone to her fantastic new home with the Lord on Thursday, March 10, 2011. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Gene Booker officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Mrs. Sexton was born April 16, 1941, in Guilford County, NC, and was raised in Randolph County. She was the daughter of the late William Carson Tucker and Julia Linda Austin Tucker. She had been employed with ART of Asheboro, LTD. Mrs. Sexton leaves behind her husband of 30+ years, Harold Sexton, of the home; children, Charlene (Charly) Hemker and husband, Darrell, of Germantown, IL, James (Jimmy) Ferguson and wife, Brandy, of Wilson, NC, John (Jack) Ferguson, of McLeansville, NC, Jeff Ferguson, of Seagrove, NC, Jay Ferguson, of Asheboro, NC; stepchildren, Paul Marsh, of Italy, John Marsh, of TN, brothers, Rev. Wayne Tucker and wife, Elgie, Rev. Kenneth Tucker, Douglas Tucker and wife, Kay; sister, Joanie Shaw and husband, Milford. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday, March 12, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
