Linda Ingold Routh

Linda Ingold Routh, 69, of Sophia, died Friday, October 21, 2016 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brett Seawell officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Routh was born in Randolph County on February 1, 1947. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed crocheting, going to the lake and riding her jet ski. She was a loving wife and a great mom and nana. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayland Ingold and brother, Danny Ingold. Surviving are her husbnd, Gurney Routh, Jr., of the home; daughter, Lisa Kearns and husband, Greg, of Sophia; sons, Lynn Routh and wife, Shannon, of Sophia, Jimmy Routh and wife, Jennifer, of Asheboro; mother, Ruth Brady Ingold, of Sophia; brother, Mike Ingold and wife, Angie, of Sophia; grandchildren, Camryn Kearns, Hunter Routh, Peyton Routh, Justin Kearns and Tyler Kearns. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 PM, Monday, October 24, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home in Asheboro. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
