Linda Carol Renigar Bailey, 84, of Asheboro, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at her home.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Mark Beane and Rev. Elizabeth Bentley officiating.
Born on November 15, 1941, in Randolph County, NC, Linda was the daughter of the late Theodore Roosevelt Renigar and Lina Molita Allred Renigar. She worked at Black and Decker, was a teacher's assistant at Lindley Park Elementary and most of all, was a full time "Angel". Linda was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all.
Linda was an active long time member of Asheboro First Wesleyan Church, where she served on several committees and played the piano for many years. She was kind and had a servant's heart, always putting the needs of others before hers. Linda loved playing the piano, and walking with her dog, Stella. She enjoyed baking and made the best brownies and sour cream pound cake. Taking pictures of sunsets and sharing them also brought her great joy.
In additon to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her sister, June Ward, and grandson, Jason Bigelow.
Surviving are her husband of 68 years, Thomas "Tommy" Bailey; daughters, Tina Bigelow Goss (Bob), Tammy Bailey Pugh (Steve), Tracie Ritch Wilkes (Craig); sister, Doris Bennett (Delanous); sister-in-law, Carolyn Hubbard; grandchildren, Jamie Bigelow, Kyle Pugh (Holly), Keli Pugh Stovall, Bailey Ritch Milliner (Jerrell), Dr. Brody Ritch (Bailie); granddaughter-in-law, Anna Bigelow; step grandchildren, Jessica Goss Opal (Ian), Jolie Goss Chambers (Brad), Jamie Goss Delury (Kevin); great grandchildren, Bearik Bigelow, Grace Bigelow, Maverick Bigelow, Ava Pugh, Addy Kate Pugh, Tucker Pugh, Lina Stovall, Phoenix Milliner; step great grandchildren, Maxine Goss, Oskar Delury; nieces and nephews, Holly Hubbard Coble (Jeremy), Cindy Bennett Sturgill (Randy), Bonnie Bennett Pascale, Chuck Ward, Randy Ward, Dean Bailey (Kristie).
The family will receive friends from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, prior to the the service at Ridge Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
The family wants to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff, especially, Maddie, Megan, Kim, Stephanie, Daisy, Kerry, Teisha, and Angie, with Hospice of Randolph for such wonderful, loving care.
