Linda Allred

Linda Faye Spell Allred, 75, of Asheboro, died Monday, August 15, 2022 at Randolph Health in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Charles Reeder officiating. The burial will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday at Salisbury National Cemetery. Mrs. Allred was born in Fayetteville, NC, on June 13, 1947, the daughter of the late Ernest Minson Spell and Mildred Spell. She was employed at Acme-McCrary in Asheboro for many years. She was a loving mother and a member of Sunset Avenue Church of God. In addition to her parents Mrs. Allred was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Mack Allred, her brother, Jim Spell, and her sister, Brenda Spell. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Allred of the home; sister-in-law, Ann Spell of Asheboro; nephews, Ricky Allred (Sandra) of Concord, Todd Spell (Rhonda) of Bahama, NC; nieces, Amy Spell of Asheboro and Jamie Spell Tilley (Jason) of Asheboro. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2022, prior to the service.
