Lexie Fuller Denny, 92, of Randleman, died Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Swain County, Mrs. Denny was born April 26, 1923 to the late William and Laura Fuller. She was of the Baptist faith and retired from JRA Industries. Mrs. Denny enjoyed cooking, gardening, NASCAR racing, spending time with all her children and grandchildren, this included neighborhood children who called her "Granny". In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Denny; son, Norman Denny; granddaughter, Kelly Henderson; two sisters and a brother. She is survived by her children, Wanda Harris of Jamestown, Reg Denny of Randleman, Anna Roney of Sophia, Charlotte Willard of Randleman, Ralph Denny of Winston-Salem, Mitchell Denny of Sophia, Jeff Denny of Randleman and Johnathan Henderson of Sophia; sisters, Becky Barton and Jean Moose; grandchildren, Rebecca Dawson, Vickie Bazen, Shane Denny, Lori Hill, Cecil Turnage, Melissa Spivey, Angie Denny, Heather Moore; great-grandchildren, Crystal Robertson, Abigail Robertson, Patrick Foland, Tristan Foland, Celina Anderson, Tera Hill, Maranda Hill, Brandon Hill, Carol Spivey, Matthew Robertson, Thomas Robertson, Matthew Graves, Xander Graves; and four great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., Friday, September 11, 2015 at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
