Lessie Auman

Lessie Margaret Crotts Auman, 88, of Seagrove, NC, died Monday, November 16, 2015 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. Funeral services, 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015, at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church, Star, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Orange County, Mrs. Auman was born June 3, 1927, to the late John and Teal Crotts. She attended Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church and was retired from Burlington Industries after 35 years. Mrs. Auman enjoyed gardening and going out to eat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Treece Auman; son, Ronnie Auman; sister, Snody Crotts; and brothers, Robert, Elmore and Claudie Crotts. Survivors include her daughter-in-law, Robin Auman of Asheboro; granddaughter, Stephanie Auman Cain and husband, Clay of Seagrove; great-grandsons, Trenton Cain and Silas Cain; nephews, Carl Crotts and Billy Crotts. She is also survived by her special caregivers, Janet Auman, Harvey and Betty Auman, Boyd and Verlene Auman, and Franklin and Pat Auman. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Thursday, November 19, 2015, at the church, and other times at the home of her daughter-in-law, Robin Auman.
