Leroy Darity

Mr. William Leroy Darity, 79, of Franklinville, NC, died Sunday, June 23, 2013, at The Randolph Hospice House. A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 pm Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. A native of Orange Co. County, NC, Mr. Darity was born August 20, 1933. He was the son of the late James Darity and Goldie Thompson Darity. Mr. Darity was retired from United Brass Works in Randleman. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a avid golfer and a New York Yankee fan. Mr. Darity is survived by his wife, Elsie Mae Darity, of the home; daughter, Evelyn Yates and husband, Allen, of Randleman; son, Donald James "Don"� Darity and wife, Cindy, of Raleigh; sister, Juanita Daniels, of Asheboro; grandchildren, James Morton, Angela McNeill; and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the memorial service and other times at the home.
