Leonard "Lenny" Martinez

Leonard Harold Martinez Jr., 60, of Asheboro died on Monday, March 21, 2016, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. He is survived by his wife, Vickie Martinez; sons, Michael Glasgow Jr. and wife Amanda and Jason Andrew Routh; stepmother, Margaret Martinez; sisters, Carolyn Jarrells, Rhonda York and husband Frank, Teena King, Sirona Smith and husband Earl, Donna Pegram and Diane Martinez; brothers, Todd Martinez and David Martinez; several nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and close friend, Linda Jarrell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruth Williams and Leonard Martinez Sr. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at 4 p.m. at Berean Memorial Baptist Church, 4991 Branson Davis Road, Sophia, with Rev. Joe Farlow officiating.
