Leona Ruth Loflin Ingram, 84, of Denton, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Randolph Memorial Park, with Dr. Brent Tysinger officiating. Leona was born on February 28, 1937, in Randolph Co., to the late Henry Clay Loflin and Edith Hoover Loflin. She was a loving wife, mom, caring friend and a homemaker. She loved to crochet and enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Leona was preceded in death by her daughter, Shelia Denette Creed. She is survived by her husband, Walter Ingram; daughter, Cynthia Hunt (Kevin); sons, Allen Creed (Renee) Andy Creed (Tammy); sister, Gerline Sawyer; grandchildren, Ashlee Martin, Jaxon Snider, John Allen Creed, Ashton Creed; great grandchildren, Zander, Paige; step grandchild, Chase Hunt. Mrs. Ingram will lie in repose from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m., Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
