Lennie Hussey

Mr. Lennie Harding Hussey, 91, of Robbins, NC, died Saturday, December 31, 2011, at his residence. A private funeral service is scheduled at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Charles Reeder officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Moore County, NC, Mr. Hussey was born December 20, 1920. He was the son of the late Charles Arthur Hussey and Emma Elizabeth Garner Hussey. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps before entering the US Army Air Force where he served in World War II. He worked for Klopman Mills for 28 years and was also a farmer, raising chickens even after his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Hussey. Mr. Hussey is survived by his son, Dwight Hussey, of Robbins, NC; daughters, DeLena Hussey, of Ramseur, NC, , Glendene Payne, of Trinity, NC; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
