Lenilita 'Lisa' Cordaro

Lenilita Lisa "Tiger" Cordaro, 76, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Father Joe Mitchell officiating. Born in the Philippines on July 23, 1943, Lisa was the daughter of the late Quintin and Alejandria Turdil. She served in many roles as a civilian employee at the US Department of Defense. She was wonderful as a wife, mother of three, grandmother to many and great grandmother to many more. She loved growing flowers, sewing, and traveling. "Tiger" helped more people than anyone would imagine. She would never let a person in need go without helping. She was very kind, generous, and the the best friend in the world. Surviving are her husband, Jerome Cordaro; daughter, Jenniffer Gaddis of High Point; sons, Lonn Foate of San Antonio, TX, Robert Foate of San Angelo, TX; sister, Paulina Turdil of the Philippines; brother, Lorenzo Turdil of the Philippines; and loved ones residing in Olongapo, Subic Bay, and San Naricso, Zambales, Philippines. The family will receive friends following the service.
