Lee Ann Thornsbury

Lee Ann Thornsbury, 32, of Asheboro, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Brian Faircloth officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens. Lee was born December 21, 1984 in Chatham County. She was currently attending Randolph Community College. Lee was a good person who always had a smile on her face. She loved people and never met a stranger. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Jessie "Poppy" Bratcher; cousins, David Allred and Roger "Topper" Causey. Survivors include her sons, Tyler Ferguson and Thomas Michael Ferguson, both of the home; parents, Tom and Vickie Thornsbury of the home; grandmothers, Oma Bratcher of Florida and Jean "Granny Grunt" Tate of Randleman; grandfather, Jimmy Allred, Sr. of Asheboro; Lisa "Maw Maw" Ferguson; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 unitl 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
