Lee Duke

Arnold Lee Duke, 65, of Asheboro, NC, died Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at his residence.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Born December 14, 1960, in Randolph County, Lee was the son of the late Ernest Duke, Jr., and Louise Steed Duke Cox. Lee loved the fast life. Riding his Harley Davidson, hunting, fishing, and entertaining friends were some of the best times to him. Hosting cookouts, going to bike rallies, especially Bike Week at Myrtle Beach, and enjoying his Busch Light were his favorite things to do. Lee was the life of the party. You accepted him the way he was or you didn't. Either way, it didn't bother him.

The most important thing in his life was his family. He loved them deeply, especially his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his wife, Robin Butcher Duke, and stepfather, Joe Dean Cox.

Survivors include his son, Zachary Duke (Ashley); sisters, Tina Duke Luther (John), Tracey Duke Wilkerson (Jeff); grandchildren, Keegan Duke, Christopher Spivey, Madison Spivey; nieces and nephews, Lucas, Wesley, Kasey; and great nieces and nephews, Eliza, Lynley, Lainey, and Callie.
