Lawrence L. Perdue

Mr. Lawrence Lynn Perdue, 68, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, September 18, 2014, at his home. A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, September 25, 2014, at Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Barry Queen officiating. A native of Alamance County, NC, Mr. Perdue was born March 24, 1946. He was the son of the late William Clyde Perdue and Ruby Vivian Fogleman Perdue. Mr. Perdue was a member of Flag Springs United Methodist Church and had worked for the city water department. Mr. Perdue is survived by his wife, Dell Perdue; sister, Edith Bobbitt and husband Don, of Danville, VA; brother, Kenneth Perdue and wife, Jill, of Burlington, NC; half-brother, William Wilson and wife, Barbara, of Rockwall, TX; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall at Flag Springs United Methodist Church.
