Larry Ray Miller

Mr. Larry Ray Miller, Sr., 68, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, April 7, 2012, at his residence. A graveside service is scheduled for 11:00 am Saturday, April 14, 2012, at West Chapel United Methodist Church with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mr. Miller was born September 27, 1943. He was the son of the late Emory Columbus Miller and Mary Jane Barnett Miller. Mr. Miller retired from Klaussner Furniture Industries Inc. and served in the US Navy. In addition to his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by, his son, Larry Ray Miller, Jr.; sisters, Marilyn Bunting and Martha Miller; and brother, William Miller. Mr. Miller is survived by, daughter, Jennifer Light, and husband Todd, of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Joyce Skeen, of Asheboro, NC, Beverly Miller, of Asheboro, NC, Nancy Freeman, of Asheboro, NC; brothers, Emory Miller, of Randleman, NC, John Miller, of Asheboro, NC, Jack Miller, of Asheboro, NC, Charles Miller, of Asheboro, NC, Don Miller, of Newton, NC; grandson, Wil Light, and granddaughters, Emma, Sarah, and Gracie Light.
