Larry King

Larry Junior King, 65, of Seagrove, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016 in the Fellowship Hall at Asbury Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Crigler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Born September 16, 1950, a native of Randolph County, Mr. King was the son of the late Morris and Callie King. He retired from Luck's Inc. as a truck driver after 30 years of service. Mr. King enjoyed watching sports, especially NASCAR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Crystal King. Mr. King is survived by his daughter, Pam Rush and husband, Lynn, of Robbins; son, Leon Morris King of Seagrove; sisters, Hazel Vest of Troy, Judy Luck and husband, Larry, Susan Brooks and husband, James, and Beverly King, all of Seagrove; brothers, Glenn King and wife, Karen, and Gary King, all of Seagrove; and seven grandchildren. The family will receive friends following the service.
