Larry Jones

Richard Lawrence "Larry" Jones, Jr., 56, of Asheboro, NC, died Tuesday, March 28, 2017. A celebration of life will be held at a late date. A native of Petersburg, VA, Mr. Jones was born August 3, 1960. He was an avid hunter. Mr. Jones served in the Ranger Battalion of the US Army. Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jo Neal Jones, and wife, Rosalind Hammonds Jones. Survivors include his son, Richard Lawrence Jones, III; stepdaughter, Nicole Wilson; stepson, Derek Mckee; father, Richard Lawrence Jones, Sr.; sisters, Cindy Jones, Gayla Jones; brother, Sonny Jones. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday, April 3, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home.
