Kristen Kidd

Kristen Ellen Kidd, 26, of Denton, died Thursday, January 28, 2021 at her home. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 2, 2021, at Pierce Chapel Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor Jesse Howard officiating. Kristen was born on December 20, 1994, in Randolph Co. She graduated form South Davidson High School and worked at Walmart. Kristen was a member of Silver Valley Church of God. She is survived by her mother, Laura Barbour and husband James of the home; father, Corey Kidd and wife Tamatha of Denton; sisters, Kayla Kidd, Angel Barbour, Megan Kidd, Katelyn Kidd, Tiffany Russell; grandfather, John Summey; grandmother, Shirley Jarrett; aunt and uncle, Marilyn and Kermit Handcock. Ms. Kidd's body will lie in state from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., Monday, February 1, 2021, at Ridge Funeral Home.
