Klaus D. Keith-Mehall

Mr. Klaus Dieter Keith-Mehall, 60, of Wilson, NC, died Sunday, November 24, 2013, at Wilson Medical Center. A funeral service is scheduled for Wednesday, November 27, 2013, at 11:00 am in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Charles T. Reeder officiating. Mr. Keith-Mehall was born August 7, 1953. He was the son of the late Donald Joseph Mehall and Gisela Ruth Keith Mehall, of Asheboro. Mr. Keith-Mehall was born in Germany and lived there until the age of 12. He later moved to Clinton, NJ and then to Texas. Later he moved to Asheboro and worked for Flav-O-Rich. Mr. Keith-Mehall served in the US Army during Vietnam, serving with the 101st Airborne. He enjoyed reading, was an avid historian, and enjoyed war games. He was a Dallas Cowboys fan, had a great sense of humor, enjoyed having fun with his family, and was very proud of his children. In addition to his father, Mr. Keith-Mehall was preceded in death by his brother Daniel Mehall In addition to his mother, Mr. Keith-Mehall, is survived by his daughter, Roxanne Keith, of Chandler, TX; son, Brian Keith, of Phillipsburg, NJ; sisters, Barbara Wagner and husband, Charlie, Christine Laur and husband, Jerry, all of Asheboro, NC, Kimberly Love and husband, Raymond, of Dunn, NC; brothers, David Mehall and wife Jan, of Bennett, NC, Dennis Mehall and wife Roberta, of Asheboro; 3 Grandchildren; 2 Great Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
