Kimberly Amanda Ahonen Luther, 53, of Asheboro, went home to be with The Lord, Monday, February 24, 2025.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Foster Street Wesleyan Church, Asheboro, with Pastor Charles Moses officiating. The family kindly requests that guests wear cheerful and uplifting colors.
Kim was born on July 1, 1971, in Marquette, MI, the daughter of the late Robert Ahonen and Judith Probelski Ahonen. She had an artistic side and loved to paint and create art. Kim was a born again child of God and loved to help others. She never met a stranger and had a loud, contagious laugh. Kim was very well put together, and always fashionably late. She had been delt numerous obstacles in her life that she had to battle, but she aways overcame them, because she was a proud fighter. Kim loved going to the beach and being around the water, and The Cherry Grove Point was her happy place.
She is survived by her husband of four years, Keith Luther; children, Kaelin Garner, Nate Lamonds (Carrie); stepchildren, Braxton Luther, Emma Caviness (Ethan); sister, Robin Gordon (Greg); grandchildren, Kyla Lamonds, Creed Lamonds, Aspen Lamonds; niece, Amanda Gordon, and nephew, Robbie Gordon (Alyse).
The family will receive friends from 12:45 - 1:45 p.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Foster Street Wesleyan Church, Asheboro.
