Kenneth Carlton "Kessie" Clark, 89, of Asheboro, died Thursday, February 25, 2016 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 29, 2016, at Balfour Baptist Church with Gary Mason officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Born September 12, 1926 in Guilford County, Mr. Clark was the son of the late Daniel Archie Clark and Ina Sirona Pierce Clark. He was retired owner/operator of Arcade Billiards. Kessie was a wonderful husband, brother, uncle and friend, who was loved dearly by all who knew him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand or give a kind word of advice. He loved his family and his Lord, Jesus Christ. Kessie was well known for his pool hall and his second home at the Asheboro Municipal Golf Course. He was an avid sports fan, he loved playing pool, golf and fishing. In 1966 he won the Asheboro City Am. Kessie served in the US Navy Air Corp during World War II. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Terry Clark, Eugene "Shaker" Clark; sisters, DeEtte Clanton and Doris Jarrell. Kessie is survived by his wife, Pat Clark of the home; sisters, "Bo-d" Morgan and husband, Jennings and Kay Outen, all of Asheboro; brother, Ronnie Clark of Asheboro; brother-in-law, Earl Clanton of Kannapolis; sister-in-law, Jan Clark of Asheboro; numerous nieces and nephews; many special cousins and his beloved dog, Gracie. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O.
