Kenneth Ray Hill

Kenneth Ray Hill, 55, of Asheboro, died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at his home. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Sunday, April 19, 2015, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Reaves officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Born on October 13, 1959, in Thomasville, NC, Mr. Hill was the son of the late Martin Henry Hill and Agnes Colleen Owens Hill. He worked most of his life as a HVAC technician and in furniture manufacturing until becoming disabled. He loved the outdoors and doing yard work. Kenneth spent four years in the US Army as a TOW Gunner in the 101st Air Assault as a "Screaming Eagle". His pride and joy was his granddaughter, Elizabeth Kathrina Reeves. Surviving are his wife, Dianne Pugh Hill, of the home; daughter, Amy Michelle Hill and fiancé, Jesse Reeves, of Ramseur; sisters, Penny Stephenson Cox, of Darrington, WA, Judy Hill Laughlin and husband, Ray, Millie Hill Hughes and husband, Eddie, all of Asheboro; sister in Christ, Ginger Lynn Carrick, of Asheboro; and granddaughter, Elizabeth Kathrina Reeves, of Ramseur. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Millie and Eddie Hughes, 915 Mack Road, Asheboro.
