Keith Del Tarlton, 66, of Asheboro, went to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, March 27, 2020, at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. Keith was born on October 4, 1953 in Cabarrus Co., to the late Devoid Cleveland Tarlton and Willie Mae Bounds Tarlton. He was a retired truck driver with his last position being an instructor at Future Truckers of America. He enjoyed woodworking, working with tractors and his hands, was known to be a "Jack of all trades," and loved his dogs. He was a member of Grace Baptist Temple. He loved his pastor and his church family. Keith deeply loved his wife of 47 years, was proud of his son, and cherished his grandson more than anything. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Tarlton. He is survived by his wife, Krista Tarlton of the home; son, Justin Tarlton and wife Julie of Randleman; brother, Kelvin Tarlton and wife Kathy of Randleman; and grandson, Noah Tarlton. Due to to restrictions on group gatherings, a private graveside service will be held on Monday, March 30, 2020, at the Grace Baptist Temple Cemetery with Pastor Marc Myers officiating. A celebration of life will be held at a later date once deemed safe by officials. Memorials may be made to Grace Baptist Temple, 6120 U.S. Highway 220 Business, Asheboro, NC 27205.
