Kathy 'Kat' Williams

Kathy "Kat" Elaine Williams, 65, of Black Ankle, died Thursday, October 3, 2019, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2019. at West Bend United Methodist Church Cemetery, Asheboro, with Ronnie Cox officiating. Kathy was born in Randolph Co., on September 2, 1954 to the late Olen Williams and Johnsie Marie Thompson Williams. She retired from Edney's Produce. She was a member of the Moose Lodge since 1993. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Steve "Red" Williams. Surviving are her sisters, Marcie Frye and husband Terry of Mount Gilead, Rita Cox and husband Ronnie of Asheboro, Sheila Pope and husband Tony of Trinity; brother, Stacy Williams and wife Carla of Middletown, Ct.; many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews whom she loved very much, and her cat "Midnight". The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, October 6, 2019. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204
