Kathy Tucker Trogdon

Kathy Anne Trogdon, 51, of Asheboro, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC surrounded by her family. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, Monday, November 19, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home. There will be a service to celebrate Kathy's life at 11:00 AM in the Chapel with Dr. Keith Hudson, Senior Pastor of Oakhurst Baptist Church, officiating. The family will remain at Ridge Funeral Home to receive friends immediately following the service. Born in Randolph County, NC, Kathy was the daughter of James and Nancy Tucker. She attended Asheboro High School (Class of 1985). With favorite pastimes such as water skiing, tubing, riding jet skis, and simply being on or around the water, it is no surprise that many of her vacations landed her at Badin Lake and Myrtle Beach. Kathy was an avid Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed riding 4-wheelers, roller skating, bike riding, and bowling during her active years. More recently, she expressed an interest in gardening with Randall, watching all the latest movies, saving animals, and spending time taking care of others in their home. Kathy is survived by her husband, Randall Trogdon; daughters, Karolanne Trogdon Martin and Kristyn Trogdon; son-in-law, Nicholas Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Mandy and Brian Strider; brother, Jay Dumoulin; parents, James and Nancy Tucker; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
