Kathy Spaulding

Kathy LaVerne Debty Spaulding, 66, of Randleman, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Born in Gaston Co., NC, on August 21, 1959, Mrs. Spaulding was the daughter of the late Charles and Audrey Lovingood Debty. She had worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over 40 years and loved going to the mountains when she could get a chance. Mrs. Spaulding was the matriarch of the family, always taking care of everyone. Her modest, selfless life was reflected in the way she treated others.

Mrs. Spaulding was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Spaulding, and four siblings, in addition to her parents.

Survivors include her sons, Jason Spaulding, Jeremy Spaulding (Lianna); siblings, Larry Debty, Jean Kuykendall, Diane Debty; grandchildren, Zach, Hailey, Kellar, Selah, Nathaniel, Magdaline, Jubileigh; and her beloved dogs, Harley and Ernest.
