Kathy Gail McLain Passmore Denny, 60, of 4508 Lamb Street, Randleman, died Sunday, June 13, 2010, at in Hinkle Hospice Home in Lexington. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 17, 2010, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Elbertson and the Rev. Scott Roper officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Denny was born on July 14, 1949 in Andrews, NC. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was preceded in death by her father, Ruport McLain. Surviving are her husband, Reginald Denny; daughter, Deidra Passmore Harb and special friend, Rick Key, of Fries, VA; son, James Passmore and fiancee, Jamie Berrier, of Thomasville; mother, Bernice McLain, of Andrews; sisters, Shirley Passmore, of Nantahala, Alomia Mashburn, of Topton, Linda Thompson, Revia Dockery, both of Murphy, brother, Larry McLain, of Topton, special twin brother, Gary McLain, of Murphy; special cousin, David Hyde, of Andrews; grandchildren, Bradley Passmore, Amber Mize, Donna Passmore, Dylan Rowe, Brandon Rowe, Landon Rowe and Erica Rasnick. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Thursday, June 17, 2010, and other times at the home of James Passmore, 110 Excel Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360.
