Kathleen Sykes Mclaughlin

Mrs. Kathleen Donza Sykes McLaughlin, 83, of Asheboro, NC, died Monday, March 18, 2013, at her residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating. Burial will follow at Flag Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Asheboro. Mrs. McLaughlin had worked at Randolph Hospital for 27 years. She attended church and loved to sing gospel songs. Mrs. McLaughlin is survived by her husband, Durward C. McLaughlin, of the home; daughter, Donza McMahan and husband, Mike, of Asheboro, NC; sons, Audie McLaughlin and wife, Ann, Perry McLaughlin, all of Asheboro, NC, Paul McLaughlin, of Kentucky, Derrick McLaughlin and wife, Kim, Mark McLaughlin, all of Asheboro, NC; 13 grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home.
