Katherine Glynn Stinson

Katherine Glynn Delk Stinson, 92, of Asheboro, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, Asheboro, with Rev. Brian Pierce and Chaplain Joey Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born in Randolph County, NC, on December 5, 1926, Katherine was the daughter of the late Robert Glenn Delk and Mary Katherine Ferree Delk. She was a member of Fayetteville St. Baptist Church for over 30 years. Survived by her daughters, Ginger Carrick, of Asheboro, Fran Wagner and husband Larry, of High Point; sisters, Elizabeth "Lib" Copple, and husband Charles, of Asheboro, Shirley McNeil, and husband, Buddy, of Asheboro, Barbara Maness, of Asheboro; brother, Charles Ray Delk, and wife, Carolyn, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Angie Burney, and husband, Don, of Winston-Salem, Mark Wagner, and wife, Tracy, of High Point, Dean Lamar, of Oak Island, SC; 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
