Katherine Arlene Hepler Alford, 72, of Asheboro, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at her home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m., Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ricky Sessoms officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born March 24, 1945 in Randolph County, Mrs. Alford was the daughter of the late George and Mozelle Freedle Hepler. She graduated from Asheboro High School and was retired from Teleflex. Mrs. Alford enjoyed watching T.V. and going out to eat with her family. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Alford is survived by her son, Ricky Alford and wife, Robin of Asheboro; and grandchildren, Jordan Alford and Taylor Alford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Susan G.
