Clarence Junior Odom, 68, of Thomasville, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Born February 24, 1949 in Montgomery County, Mr. Odom was the son of the late Clarence and Zella Odom. He was retired from Black & Decker. Mr. Odom liked making walking sticks and working with his hands. He enjoyed reading and spending time with his granchidlren. Surviving are his daughters, Cindy Foxx and husband, Tony of Ramseur, Becky Odom of Thomasville; son, Jacobie Odom of Coleridge; sisters, Faye Roberts of Black Ankle, Thelma Singleton of Star, Maddie Pritchard of Denton; brother, Floyd Odom and wife, Rama Mae of Black Ankle; grandchildren, Ashley Miller, Brook Miller, Connie Miller, all of Denton, Terrance Odom of Raleigh, Bri-ana Alston of Asheboro; and three great-grandchildren.
