Junior Hussey

Mr. Junior Hussey, 70, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, December 25, 2010, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 28, 2010, at Friendship Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Kidd and the Rev. Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Seagrove. A native of Moore County, NC, Mr. Hussey was born August 25, 1940. Mr. Hussey retired from Energizer in 2003. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and he attended Friendship Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Hussey. Mr. Hussey is survived by daughters, Jane Hoogkamp and husband, Wyatt, of Asheboro, Debra Singer and husband, Randy, of Seagrove, Cynthia Swearingen, of Akron, OH, son, Mark Hussey and wife, Lisa, of Wallace, SC; sister, Doris Henningson, of Sarasota, FL; bother, Allen Hussey, and wife, Lorene, of Ramseur; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Monday, December 27, 2010, at Ridge Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
