Mrs. Julie Kay Lamb Stewart, 43, of Franklinville, NC, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at her residence. A native of Randolph County, NC, Mrs. Stewart was born October 19, 1967. She was a homemaker and attended First Assembly in Asheboro. She loved living life, being a wife and enjoying her family. "No man takes my life, I lay it down". (paraphrased John 10:17-18.) Julie understood and knew the risks of giving birth to her last son but she was willing to lay down her life for his. She did this willingly and whole-heartedly. She has fought a good fight, she has finished her course, she has kept the faith! II Timothy 4:7-8. She is preceded in death by their son, Daniel Stewart. Mrs. Stewart, is survived by her parents, Tommy Lamb, of Asheboro and Kay Jackson, of Randleman, NC; husband, Jimmy Stewart, of the home; sons, Jordan Stewart and Joel Stewart, both of the home; sister, Glenda Lamb Hutchins, of Winston-Salem, NC; grandmother, Frances Lamb, of Asheboro, NC; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Troy and Carolyn Stewart, of East Bernstadt, KY. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
