Julia Grace Trotter Hoover, 86, of Asheboro, died Friday, January 17, 2020, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 19, 2020, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Darrell Rabon officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Julia was born on August 2, 1933, in Randolph Co., the daughter of the late Ross Trotter and Ethel Bingham Trotter. She had attended Sawyersville Wesleyan Church, and retired from Acme McCrary. Mrs. Hoover was a wonderful wife for 69 years, she loved her kids and grandkids and would go to their events whenever she was able. She enjoyed eating out, going shopping, and loved her dog, "Oscar". She is survived by her husband, Coy Hoover of the home; daughter, Debra Lanier and husband Arnold of Denton; son, Kevin Hoover of the home; sisters, Peggy Myers of Trinity, Linda Mills, Glenda McMasters, Phyllis Sparks and husband Kenneth, all of Asheboro; brother, Larry Trotter and wife Drue of Asheboro; grandchildren, Phillip Lanier and wife Angela of Asheboro, Amy Yates of Lexington, Julie Hurley and husband Gene of Troy; great grandchildren, Makayla Hurley, Abby Jean Hurley, Carson Yates, Kylee Yates, Spencer Lanier, Debranna Lanier, Ellie Lanier, and Levi Lanier. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 1:30 until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 19, 2020, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
