Judy Wilson

Judy Frances Wilson, 74, of Asheboro, died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 11, 2018, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hoyle Harrison officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born April 2, 1944 in Randolph County, Mrs. Wilson was the daughter of the late Frank Cecil and Edna Vuncannon Wilson. She was a nurse for 27 years having worked in the hospital, nursing home and later retiring from Advance Health Resources, a home health company. Mrs. Wilson loved nursing but had to retire due to health issues. She loved animals and enjoyed playing computer games. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd E. Wilson; and son, Timothy Lloyd Wilson. Survivors include her daughter, Debbie Lester of Asheboro; son, Jeff Wilson (Stacey Taylor) of Whitsett; brother, Cecil Wilson and wife, Mary of Denton; grandchildren, Stephanie Lester of Randleman, Stephen Lester of Los Angeles, CA, Drew Snider of Whitsett, Brandon Snider, MA, with the US Navy; and sister-in-law and good friend, Linda Wilson Reeder. She is also survived by her fur babies, Candy and Teddy, whom she loved dearly; and her grand doggies, Tucker, Flo and Riley. "Thanks to Hazel, Cindy and Burnice Staley for the friendship we have had all these years. Hazel has been my sounding board and a shoulder to cry on. Cindy has been my shadow and I love her just like a daughter. Children I hope you find it in your heart to get back in church. Please take care of the old home place. I've gone to my mansion and I sure hope to see you there with Daddy, Timmy and me. I love all of you with all my heart." The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
