Juanita Williams

Mrs. Juanita Mae Owens Williams, 80, of Asheboro, died Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Cross Road Retirement Community in Asheboro. Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2018, at Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro, with Rev. Jon Hunter officiating. A native of Randolph County, Mrs. Williams was born May 19, 1937, the daughter of the late of Ja Van and Mattie Craven Owens. She was retired from the Asheboro City Schools and had attended Sunset Avenue Church of God. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Williams, Sr., and her grandson, Andrew Williams. Survivors include her son, David Lee Williams, Jr., and wife, Paula, of Holly Springs; sisters, Martha Owens Broadway and husband, Furman, of Southport, NC, Mary Magdalene Owens, of Asheboro; and grandson, Brandon Williams.
