Juanita Greene

Juanita Bennett Greene, 78, of Asheboro, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, March 24, 2017 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at West Asheboro Church of God with Rev. Matt Gunter, Rev. Sarah Grooms and Rev. Thomas Britt officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park. Born November 1, 1938 in Randolph County, Mrs. Greene was the daughter of the late Arlie and Wilma Bennett. She was a member of West Asheboro Church of God. Mrs. Greene is survived by her husband, Colon Green of the home; daughter, Brenda Boone of Seagrove; sons, Talmadge Green (Tina) of Seagrove, Terry Green (Kerri Toomes) of Level Cross; sister, Faye Green (Kirby) of Asheboro; and brother, Larry Bennett (Faye) of Asheboro. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Steven Boone (Sonya), April Rice (Kevin), Presley Green, Christina Inman; five great-grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
