Joyce Ann Cornelison

Joyce Ann Bullins Cornelison, 70, of Asheboro, left this earth Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at Randolph Health in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 8, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tim Fonner officiating. Burial will follow at Suggs Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, in Star. Joyce was born on June 4, 1949 in Randolph Co., she was the daughter of the late Wesley Bullins and Alverda Lou Bullins. She was an AVON Representative for over 20 years. Special times with her husband, friends, and family has always included lots of laughter. She loved spending time in the outdoors in the garden and watching nature. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Hester Collins; brothers, Jim Bullins and Junior Bullins. She is survived by her husband, David Cornelison of the home; son, David Wayne Cornelison and wife Tonia of Morganton; sister-in-law, Lois Davis of Concord; brothers-in-law, Paul Cornelison of Salisbury, Jerry Cornelison and wife Phyllis of Biscoe; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Marty Barker. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019. Memorials may be made to Jim's Kids, 2262 Race Track Road, Sophia, NC 27350.
