Josephine Brown

Josephine Brown, 84, of Archdale, formerly of Asheboro, died Saturday, March 5, 2011, at the Randolph Hospice House. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2011, at the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Billy Britt and the Rev. Lonnie Woodie officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. A native of Randolph County, NC, Josephine was born July 28, 1926. She was the daughter of the late Ira Brown and Nettie Pearl Richardson Brown. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Canary Goucher, Eutha Lucas, and brothers, Eli Brown, Lester Brown, Willard Brown and Colon Brown. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Monday, March 7, 2011, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home of Vickie Trull, 6132 Hazelwood Lane, Archdale.
