Jose Luis Ortiz Benitez, 48, of Asheboro, died Saturday, December 23, 2017 at Randolph Health in Asheboro. A funeral mass will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 28, 2017, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Philip Kollithanath officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Ridge Funeral Home.
