Jonah L. Cagle

Mr. Jonah Lynn Cagle, 81, of Seagrove, NC, died Sunday, August 18, 2013, at his residence. A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Grady Blakley officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery. A native of Montgomery County, NC, Mr. Cagle was born February 7, 1932. He was the son of the late Motty Blair Cagle and Conie Ester Jordan Cagle. He was a retired roofer and construction worker. Mr. Cagle is survived by his wife, Minerva Reeder Cagle, of the home; daughters, Betty Cagle Boone, of Seagrove, Mae Cagle Silverthorne and husband Tony, of Asheboro, Doris Cagle, of Winston-Salem; sister, Lillie Cagle Lucas, of Troy; brother, Thomas Cagle, of Troy; grandchildren, Justin Boone and Jenna Boone Lewis. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at Ridge Funeral Home.
