John Galen Fountain

Mr. John Galen Fountain, 77, of Asheboro, NC, died Friday, January 17, 2014, at High Point Regional Hospital. A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Monday, January 20, 2014, at Pisgah United Methodist Church with Rev. Bob Dowling officiating. A native of Central City, NE, Mr. Fountain was born March 22, 1936. He was the son of the late John Ross Fountain and Lillian O'Dula Gerber Fountain. He attended Pisgah United Methodist Church and enjoyed each member of the congregation. He enjoyed welding and riding his three-wheeler. He was a retired millwright. He was a very loving husband and father, who will be sorely missed. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fountain was preceded in death by his son, David Mustain. Mr. Fountain is survived by his wife of 40 years, Glenna Lee Cagle Fountain, of the home; daughters, Chris Muise, of Fresco, CA, Kim Wasco and husband, John, of Florida; son, Dan Mustain and wife, Tammy, of Asheboro; daughter-in-law, Rose Mustain; grandchildren, Alex Wasco, Ryan Wasco, both of Florida, Glenna Mustain, of Asheboro, Jacob Smith, of High Point, Crystal Perkins, of Idaho, Joe Mustain, of Iowa; sisters, Sara Samuelson and husband, Fred, of Phoenix, AZ and Linda Burns and husband, Don, of Arizona. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church and other times at the home.
